About the role
Founding Engineer responsible for owning the architecture of the agent orchestration layer and accelerating engineering velocity, with close collaboration with founders, engineers, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Agent state, memory, context, tool use, planning, and human-in-the-loop flows.
- Tool reliability, evaluation, observability, latency, and cost.
- Own ingestion and indexing of 10M+ social videos per month into our vector store, optimizing for sub-second retrieval.
- Systems that apply Kuli's video intelligence within each customer's brand context.
- Internal tooling and automation that increase the output of a small team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Strong backend fundamentals and experience owning production systems.
- Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks.
- Evidence of shipping software used by real people.
- Comfortable moving quickly without saying sorry
- Comfortable speaking with customers and owning launches.
- Has built things from the ground up, independently or as an early employee.
