About the role

Account Executive for Carta Law within the Americas Sales team, driving revenue by evangelizing the Carta Law value proposition to asset managers and managing end-to-end sales cycles in the legal services and fund administration markets.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate the business impact of Carta Law's product offerings to key decision makers, including CCOs, GCs and CFOs of leading asset managers
  • Demonstrate ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building to identify and sell new opportunities
  • Own sales cycles end-to-end, from outbound prospecting in partnership with a dedicated SDR to close
  • Drive revenue through strategic outbound prospecting within the legal services and fund administration markets
  • Own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close
  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and sales plan that ensures consistent achievement of goals over the short and long-term
  • Build and maintain relationships with legal services clients and serve as their customer advocate

Qualifications

  • Fluency in legal services, fund management, or financial services - understand how law firms and fund managers operate
  • 5+ years of Account Executive experience selling into legal, financial services, or alternative assets or 3+ years of legal experience in a corporate law firm
  • Experience selling to legal and compliance leaders, fund managers, or asset managers with a proven ability to speak their language
  • Experience managing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Interest in being part of a 'startup within a startup' — Carta Law is a growing business within a scaling platform
