About the role

Data Engineer role to design, develop, and deploy scalable, AI-enabled data solutions within the DoD’s CDAO ADA IR program, collaborating with product managers, developers, and mission stakeholders in secure, containerized environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and operational deployment of scalable, AI-enabled data solutions
  • Shape and deploy data pipelines, pre-processing workflows, feature engineering strategies, and machine learning services
  • Collaborate with product managers, full-stack developers, platform engineers, and mission stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful insights and decision-support tools
  • Contribute to agile development practices emphasizing reproducibility, testing, and continuous delivery
  • Work in secure, containerized environments; familiarity with cloud-based data platforms is preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field (masters preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering
  • Experience designing and managing complex data pipelines
  • Experience with data visualization and storytelling using Palantir MSS Workshop and Slate
