About the role
PRN Infusion Nurse position at Rocky Mountain MS Clinic in Salt Lake City, UT. Contract, on-site role focusing on patient-centered infusion care in a neurology/MS clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients such as patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, responding to emergency patient needs.
- Exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgement, and the ability to multi-task
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; Strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations
- Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients
- Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules/regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- One year of current nursing experience required
- One year of experience with infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills and emergency patient care, preferred
