About the role

HR Project Manager focused on M&A and HR strategic initiatives to drive integration, transformation, and operational improvements within AMD’s HR function. Role involves pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close stabilization, and executive-ready communications.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to assess complex business challenges, align cross-functional priorities, and develop practical, scalable solutions that support strategic HR initiatives and M&A integration outcomes.
  • Manage and coordinate HR M&A integration activities across pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close execution, and stabilization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain integration plans, project trackers, governance materials, executive updates, and key deliverables to ensure alignment, visibility, and successful execution across concurrent initiatives.
  • Drive post-close stabilization programs and priority integration activities in partnership with M&A leadership and HR functional teams.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives that simplify operations, strengthen controls, and identify opportunities for system enhancements and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Design and execute project and deployment plans with clear governance, change management strategies, milestones, and measurable success criteria.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready communications that provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is considered an advantage.
