Genius at Apple Retail in Tysons Corner/McLean, VA provides extensive hardware and software troubleshooting, repair services, and customer education, while fostering an inclusive environment and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service to Apple customers by understanding their needs, presenting product/service recommendations, and educating customers on relevant ways to buy.
  • Support customers with care and empathy using all tools and resources provided by Apple.
  • Educate customers about repair options and Apple offerings; perform repairs on all Apple products serviced in the store.
  • Enhance team knowledge by modeling exceptional service and mentoring team members; serve as a mentor, resource, and positive role model for Genius Bar team members.
  • Work with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Identify root causes of technical issues and educate others on the team.
  • Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and fostering curiosity to learn.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
