About the role

Senior manager leading evaluation efforts for Siri, focusing on evaluation development, data science, and initiatives to bring state-of-the-art agentic evaluation to the Siri team. Role involves managing teams, collaborating across teams, and shaping evaluation-driven improvements for a privacy-centered AI assistant across Apple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Managing teams building AI-powered systems and overseeing evaluation development and data science initiatives.
  • Leading high-impact initiatives to bring state-of-the-art agentic evaluation to the entire Siri team.
  • Collaborating across multiple teams to design, deliver high-quality evaluation outcomes.
  • Driving experimental design and data-driven approaches to improve agentic systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing a team building AI-powered systems.
  • Track record of designing and delivering high-quality outcomes and collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Expertise in agentic modeling, data science and experimental design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using AI-assisted software development workflows to accelerate engineering while maintaining code quality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Expertise in conversational AI and natural language understanding.
  • Experience in evaluation for agentic systems.
  • Track record of managing first-level managers and senior engineers, and developing their careers.
