About the role

Senior design role focused on shaping AI-native investment tooling and Tilt platform experiences. Partnership with founders and engineers to define product direction, design systems, and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design of new product experiences, from early concepts and user journeys through polished interfaces and launch.
  • Partner closely with founders, product, engineering, and research to define what we build—not just how it looks.
  • Design AI-native workflows that make complex financial concepts intuitive and approachable.
  • Rapidly prototype ideas, validate assumptions, and iterate using customer feedback, analytics, and experimentation.
  • Simplify sophisticated workflows into experiences that feel fast, clear, and effortless.
  • Help establish and evolve Tilt's design system while maintaining a high bar for craft and consistency.
  • Raise the quality of product thinking across the company by contributing to product strategy, user research, and design reviews.
  • Use AI throughout your design process to explore concepts, accelerate iteration, and improve execution.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience designing and shipping digital products with measurable customer impact.
  • Exceptional systems thinker who can move between product strategy and interface design.
  • Experience turning ambiguous problems into elegant, intuitive experiences.
  • Strong foundation in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and prototyping.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas, challenging assumptions, and defending design decisions with evidence.
  • Collaborates well with engineers and navigates technical constraints.
  • Cares about craft but prioritizes speed when needed.
  • Excited about AI and actively uses it to improve workflow.
