About the role

Senior Manager responsible for creating a positive customer-interaction environment, driving performance goals and business priorities, developing other managers, and assisting the Store Leader with strategies and decision making within Apple Retail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team (including Managers), empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modeling high standards, and ensuring business priorities and exceptional customer service are met.
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, and partner with leadership and People partners as appropriate.
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by establishing, planning, and executing the operational strategy of assigned functional areas and the entire store.
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, protect all company assets and confidential information.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and fostering learning.
  • Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
  • Be a role model for inclusive leadership, build and retain diverse teams, and create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Be available to work a schedule based on business needs including nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work as scheduled
  • Have 3 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field
  • Be proficient in English and the local language, both written and spoken
