About the role

Genius with extensive troubleshooting skills who educates customers, performs repairs on Apple products, mentors team members, and contributes to an inclusive store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service by understanding customer needs, presenting product/service recommendations, and educating customers on relevant ways to buy.
  • Repair Apple products serviced in the store and stay up to date on Genius Bar repair processes and procedures.
  • Educate and mentor Genius Bar team members and serve as a mentor and positive role model.
  • Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations and contribute to an inclusive environment.
  • Identify recurring repair problems through collaboration with team leaders and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Work with team to enhance team knowledge by modeling exceptional service and educating teammates.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Ability to visually inspect hardware and perform repairs with fine motor skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in the local language, both written and spoken.
