About the role

Technical Specialist role in Apple Retail focusing on technical support, troubleshooting, and education for customers, with emphasis on repairs, product knowledge, and delivering an inclusive, high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and skilled troubleshooting for customers and Apple products/services.
  • Educate customers on repair options and Apple products and services.
  • Develop knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support efficient, high-quality repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and communicate feedback to Apple.
  • Deliver excellent service by understanding customer needs, presenting product/service recommendations, and educating on purchase options.
  • Perform additional tasks including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and learning.
  • Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a schedule based on business needs (nights, weekends, public holidays) in the retail store, with reliable attendance.
  • Proficiency in the local language (written and spoken).
