About the role

Experienced engineer to develop multiple IPs for Apple SoCs (Storage, Computer Vision and RISC-V CPU domains); responsibilities include defining micro-architecture, RTL coding, block-level simulations, synthesis, and integrating IPs into Apple SoCs across multiple sub-systems. Role involves collaboration with partner design teams, physical design, verification, platform architecture, and software teams, and includes synthesis to latest process nodes and participation in implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop multiple IPs for Apple SoCs (Storage, Computer Vision and RISC-V CPU domains)
  • Handle micro-architecture definitions, RTL coding, block level simulations and synthesis
  • Collaborate with partner design teams, physical design, verification, platform architecture and software teams to define IP micro-architecture, implement HW, and integrate into sub-systems
  • Synthesize the digital design to the latest process nodes and participate in the implementation process
  • Work on challenging technical role with a broad system view in complex, control-oriented IPs

Qualifications

  • 3+ year experience in VLSI design of Processor Cores/SoC
  • Familiar with advanced design practices (Clock/Voltage domain crossing and Low Power Design)
  • Strong Verilog/System Verilog skills
  • Familiar with CPU/ARM instruction set standard – an advantage
  • Familiar with backend tools (synthesis and STA) – an advantage
  • Experience with scripting/programming: Perl, C, Python, TCL
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Familiar with verification methodologies – an advantage
