About the role

Design and develop cellular protocol stack software for Apple’s Wireless Technologies and Eco-Systems team. Responsibilities include bringing up iOS productions with cellular features, diagnosing and debugging cellular issues, optimizing performance through data-driven refinement, and supporting comprehensive production testing across functional, performance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cellular protocol stack software.
  • Bring up iOS productions with cellular features.
  • Diagnose, debug, and resolve cellular issues with rigorous root-cause methodology.
  • Analyze and optimize cellular performance through systematic analysis and data-driven refinement.
  • Support comprehensive production testing across all functional, performance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cellular protocol stack (NAS/RRC/PDCP/RLC/MAC) developing role.
  • Good knowledge of wireless communication and computer networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learning capability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese.
