About the role

Senior IP litigation attorney to support Apple’s intellectual property efforts, provide strategic counsel on patent litigation, and manage day-to-day patent case progress. Directly engaged in formulating strategy and advising internal clients, with a trial-focused approach and strong self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

  • - Manage day-to-day progress of patent cases and provide strategic litigation counsel to internal clients
  • “- Formulate and drive patent litigation strategy in collaboration with the IP litigation team
  • - Operate with a high degree of self-sufficiency and independent judgment
  • - Work closely with a team of lawyers, legal specialists, and support staff to protect Apple’s interests
  • - Potentially manage relationships with outside counsel and identify strategic opportunities for resolution

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of major law firm and/or in-house patent litigation experience
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
  • Strong technology interest and aptitude
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills
  • Preference for broad patent litigation experience, especially standard essential patent litigation and/or ITC experience
  • Trial experience strongly preferred
