About the role

Experienced engineer focused on product certifications and regulatory compliance in India, with strong knowledge of ICT/telecom regulations, standard analysis, and stakeholder management to ensure alignment with Indian regulatory requirements and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory and policy engagements related to technology and products certifications in India.
  • Studying new regulations and working closely with Regulators, Policy Makers, Standardization Bodies, Industry Associations, Business Chambers to derive compliance requirements and comprehensive solutions.
  • Assessment of product security testing requirements, handling ICT/Telecom certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communications/Telecommunications
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience with hands-on testing and certification of ICT/Telecom products or consumer electronic devices
  • Program/Project Management skills and experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders (internal, external, partner management and Labs)
  • In-depth understanding and experience of standard analysis, compliance assessment, product assessment, test schedules, analyzing test reports, and testing of ICT end user devices
  • Experience handling Indian Regulators and regulatory requirements in India with credible relationships
  • Excellent understanding of 3GPP, IEEE, IPv6 standards
  • In-depth knowledge of RF testing, frequency spectrum; familiarity with ETSI EN 300 328, EN 303 687, EN 300 440, EN 301 893, etc.
  • Good knowledge of NFC, RFID, WPT, WLAN 2.4/5/6 GHz, BT/BLE, Zigbee, UWB
