About the role

RF Design Engineer in Munich, Germany part of Apple’s fast-growing RF wireless design team. Focus on highly integrated, power-efficient wireless silicon, PLL design solutions, and collaboration across platform, system, digital, and foundry teams to deliver innovative wireless ICs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide PLL design solutions for wireless chips and collaborate with platform architects, system group, and digital design group to define PLL requirements based on product requirements.
  • Work with Apple technology team and silicon foundries on process evaluation/selection for the target device.
  • Design analog biasing blocks, oscillators, frequency dividers and local oscillator chains.
  • Integrate IPs with system engineering, layout, and chip integration teams and verify top-level functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with RF test engineers to bring up, characterize and optimize new silicon.

Qualifications

  • MSEE /PhD or equivalent is required.
  • Profound experience in RF circuit design techniques.
  • Experience with Cadence design tools.
  • EM modelling and simulation skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
