About the role

Senior product design leadership role overseeing Scale AI's Enterprise design team, responsible for setting strategy, building the team, and shaping human–agent interaction and design systems for enterprise products.

Responsibilities

  • Set the direction for Enterprise design. Define what exceptional design looks like for Scale's Applications customers and for the expert contributors powering the platform, translating vision into actionable team direction.
  • Build and lead the team. Own hiring, development, and day-to-day leadership for a growing team of designers; establish culture and operating rhythms.
  • Drive design execution across the Enterprise product. Partner with Product and Engineering to set priorities and ensure design is involved from problem scoping through delivery.
  • Raise the craft bar. Uphold design principles and quality standards, push for rethink of workflows with AI, maintain quality without slowing delivery.
  • Contribute to the design system. Shape and adopt Scale's shared design system, promote consistent component use, and contribute patterns for a distributed team.
  • Ground the team in user needs. Build research habits and cadences to keep decisions rooted in real enterprise user needs and business impact.
  • Shape Scale's approach to human-agent interaction. Define interaction patterns for enterprise users working with AI agents and contribute to Scale's point of view on this space.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing product design teams
  • Proven track record of simplifying data-dense, power-user workflows into elegant solutions for B2B and beyond
  • Deeply customer-centric, grounding design decisions in user needs and business impact
  • Fluent in how AI is changing design practice and tooling; building AI-native workflows for your team
  • Experience designing for agentic platforms and shaping interaction patterns for AI and human-in-the-loop systems
  • Balance speed and quality; prioritization and shipping without sacrificing craft
  • Excellent communicator capable of presenting to leaders and front-line PMs and making both feel heard
