About the role
Founding role to build the Frontier Tuning Platform enabling production-grade audio models for regional languages. Focus on data collection, labeling, evals, tuning, deployment, and user-friendly workflows so non-experts can contribute and utilize language-specific voice models.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the Frontier Tuning Platform to enable production-grade models for regional languages
- Develop data collection, labeling tools, evaluation pipelines, tuning workflows, and deployment processes
- Create a polished React + TypeScript product and the backend, data pipelines, and training infrastructure behind it
- Collaborate closely with founders and early customers to iterate on platform features and UX
- Own technical strategy and platform development as a founder, adapting scope as the company grows
Qualifications
- Proof of exceptional talent through past accomplishments
- Ability to move 3× faster through extreme resourcefulness
- Enough ML depth to turn data collection, labeling, evals, tuning, and deployment into a workflow usable by non-experts
- Strong product and full-stack engineering skills in React, TypeScript, backend, data pipelines, and ML infrastructure

About Uplift AI
Foundational Voice Models for regional languages
We build Voice Models for regional languages (like Urdu, Bengali, Greek etc) and make them available through simple APIs and SDKs. Developers use us to create Voice-first digital experiences (eg. Voice eCommerce, Voice Banking, Voice AI Tutors etc). We gather our own data, develop our own labelling tools, train our own models, and design our own voice infra. This fully integrated approach enables us to offer the best models and the best developer experience for regional languages. --- People who would previously never use certain digital services (like online ordering), actually use the service when they are given an intuitive Voice based interface. We believe that Voice Interfaces will onboard 100s of millions of new users onto digital services; and double the addressable market for technology companies. Uplift AI will provide the best models to create these Voice Interfaces for 60% of the world's population that only speaks their regional language and represents 42 trillion dollars in GDP.
