About the role
Director managing end-to-end category initiatives that impact P&L across acquisition, retention, and new-treatment launches; potential to grow into a GM for a category. Leads cross-functional efforts across clinical, regulatory, product, growth, analytics, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the Category’s Biggest Levers: end-to-end ownership of initiatives moving the P&L across acquisition, retention, conversion, and new-treatment launches; manage unit economics (CAC, LTV, ARPU, S2S, contribution margin); run initiatives as a portfolio with prioritization and sequencing.
- Drive Growth & Retention: partner with growth and lifecycle teams to lift acquisition, S2S conversion, and retention; shape tech product roadmap with product and engineering; drive cross-sell and long-term engagement; develop pricing, bundling, and merchandising strategies.
- Launch & Scale New Treatments: own treatment development roadmap; identify, prioritize, sequence new treatments, SKUs, form factors, programs; collaborate with clinical, pharmacy, regulatory teams to bring therapies to market; create repeatable launch playbooks.
- Own the Customer Experience: deliver premium, empathetic, destigmatizing experience; test journey from first touch to fulfillment; pair qualitative insight with data to close experience gaps.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution: act as go-to leader for clinical, regulatory, product, growth, analytics, pharmacy, and operations; reconcile roadmaps; set priorities and success criteria; enable growth-ops and analytics resources.
- Manage Performance: own scorecard for initiatives (revenue, contribution margin, retention/churn, S2S, ARPU, treatment adoption); set KPIs and report in business reviews.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in category management, strategy & operations, general management, or related role with business accountability (preferably in a high-growth, cross-functional environment).
- Track record of owning high-stakes initiatives or a P&L and driving measurable revenue, margin, or retention outcomes.
- Experience launching and scaling new products or programs (0-to-1 and scale).
- Experience managing a portfolio and roadmap; prioritizing across bets and sequencing investments with a clear thesis.
- Strong analytical and financial fluency; ability to build and defend models and make calls with thin data.
- Cross-functional leadership aligning clinical, product, growth, and operations behind one plan.
- Bias to action: MVP, learn, iterate; avoid over-engineering.
- Ambition to grow into a GM role owning a category.
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA, management consulting, or top-tier tech background preferred.
