About the role

Apple Retail Genius focusing on extensive troubleshooting, repairing Apple products, and delivering high-quality service while educating customers and mentoring team members within the Genius Bar.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service by understanding customer needs, presenting product/service recommendations, and educating customers on relevant ways to buy.
  • Educate customers about repair options and Apple offerings and perform repairs on all Apple products serviced in the store.
  • Enhance team knowledge by modeling exceptional service and mentoring Genius Bar team members.
  • Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations.
  • Identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple via team leaders.
  • Mentor, resource, and positive role model for Genius Bar team members.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and promoting Apple values.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
