About the role

Quality Engineer within Apple's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T), Sales Engineering team. Focus on building scalable, data-driven, reliable QA solutions to support Apple's global sales, operations, and partner ecosystems. Emphasizes reliability, scalability, continuous improvement, and leveraging automation and GenAI evaluation frameworks to improve QE workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans, build tools, and test frameworks
  • Perform testing across APIs and complex systems within Sales and Operations Engineering
  • Leverage automation scripting/tools/tests harness (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, RestAssured, Appium)
  • Debug and identify software issues, ensuring reliability and scalability of enterprise systems
  • Work with Gen AI evaluation frameworks, skills, agents, plugins to improve QE workflows
  • Collaborate across teams to design scalable, integrated systems to enhance customer engagement and partner performance
  • Participate in development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and QA processes
  • Contribute to building and leveraging automation for QE efficiencies
  • Experience testing AEM-based solutions and Salesforce ecosystem is a plus (optional)

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes
  • Experienced in developing test plans, building tools, and test frameworks
  • Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms)
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Experience understanding and/or testing with APIs
  • Programming experience with automation scripting/tools/tests harness (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, RestAssured, Appium)
  • Experience with building & leveraging Gen AI evaluation frameworks, skills, agents, plugins for QE workflow efficiencies
  • Strong debugging skills to identify software issues
