About the role

Senior Finance Analyst role within the Finance Transformation team focused on driving financial process improvements, data visibility, and strategic initiatives across Apple’s finance functions, with emphasis on the R2R cycle, spend management, and SOX-compliant process redesign and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the roadmap for transforming financial processes including accounting and close-related activities within the R2R cycle and broader spend management across Financial Controllers.
  • Align initiatives with overall business objectives, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements including SOX compliance.
  • Identify, analyze, and redesign accounting processes to strengthen internal controls, improve data accuracy, and enhance scalability through automation and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership, IS&T, SOX PMO, and various business functions to ensure successful project delivery and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Support and execute change management strategies, including communication plans, training programs, and user adoption initiatives for accounting and operational finance teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and operational finance roles, with proven experience in executing finance transformation processes.
  • BS or BA in Business, Economics, or equivalent.
