About the role

Robotics Software Engineer focused on on-robot software, low-latency communication, and data integrity for a general-purpose AI robotics platform. Full-time role based in San Francisco with significant ownership and equity.

Responsibilities

  • Build and harden the on-robot software: drivers, control loops, updates
  • Minimize robot communication latency and maximize reliability
  • Ensure correctness of recorded data

Qualifications

  • Strong C++ or Rust, comfortable in Python
  • Experience with real-time or embedded systems on physical hardware
  • Low-latency networking experience (WebRTC, QUIC, or similar)
