About the role

Junior funds paralegal supporting LP transfer documents and client delivery in Carta's funds practice within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare initial drafts of LP transfer documents (transfer agreements, consents, subscription agreements)
  • Liaise with transfer parties on process and timings, and assist with execution workflows
  • Work closely with lawyers and senior paralegals, contributing to high-quality client delivery across fast-moving, high-volume matters
  • Build commercial and legal expertise over time, with opportunities to take ownership of client accounts and progress towards qualification as a practicing legal professional.

Qualifications

  • Legally educated (preferred). An undergraduate Law degree or equivalent is preferred; a GDL is welcome.
  • Prior exposure to LP Transfer processes is a plus but not required.
