About the role

BoldVoice is a speech and accent coaching app for non-native English speakers. The Fullstack Engineer will own features end-to-end across iOS/Android apps, the Remix web app, backend data/models/APIs, and Admin CMS in a fast-paced in-person NYC team.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end-to-end for iOS and Android mobile apps used by thousands of daily users
  • Develop and maintain the Remix web app powering experiences like The Accent Oracle
  • Build and evolve backend data models and APIs
  • Manage Admin CMS for content in the app and observability of product activity

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a full stack engineer working on React-based web, mobile, or desktop apps
  • Experience with React, React Native, and JavaScript
  • Experience in a fast-paced small team environment
  • Up-to-date with latest developments in using LLM tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) for rapid prototyping and shipping code
