About the role

Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation of a retail client's analytical ecosystem, integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Google Cloud Platform and a scalable data lakehouse, and enabling AI-ready data foundations across the full data lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment of client data architecture and operating model with a focus on GCP improvements and potential structural changes
  • Data flow mapping from operational/CRM sources to ingestion, transformation, governance, and delivery for analytical products
  • Solution design proposing integrated data architecture interoperable between Salesforce Data Cloud and cloud Lakehouse
  • AI-Readiness: architecting support for generative AI use cases, vector search, predictive models, and autonomous data agents
  • Governance and best practices: guiding data and analytics teams on modeling, pipelines, lineage, data quality, and LGPD compliance
  • Cost optimization: optimizing cloud resources and data platform licenses through FinOps practices
  • Stakeholder communication: translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable architectural recommendations

Qualifications

  • Solid track record in Data Architecture (development and data modeling) with experience in data pipelines
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud data platform (customer data modeling, profile unification, insights calculation, activation rules)
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, pipeline orchestration, IAM)
  • Ability to see end-to-end data lifecycle and translate business processes into end-to-end data architectures
  • Strong systems thinking, clear communication, and ability to bridge technical teams and business leadership
  • Results-oriented, efficient problem-solving and process-oriented mindset
