About the role

Manager for EU regional Solutions Architecture team within Nebius Token Factory, leading PoC delivery and post-sales technical support for open-source LLM inference and fine-tuning on a serverless platform. Remote (EU) role reporting to Head of Solutions Architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team: manage a team of 8 Solutions Architects, 1:1s, goal setting, performance reviews, promotion cases, growth plans; allocate accounts; surface blockers; enforce outcomes; onboard new joiners; coach for stronger engineers/communicators
  • Own delivery: accountability for PoC to optimized endpoint timelines, success criteria, production handoff quality; review benchmarking methodology, serving configurations, results, closure documents; manage staffing and escalation across timezones; call infeasibility early with evidence
  • Own the operating system of the team: maintain and extend documentation; ensure documentation is used; keep ticket tracker as system of record; instrument work with metrics
  • Work across teams: collaborate with development/research to prioritize platform work, engage pre-sales, ensure smooth production handoffs, provide leadership with account health and capacity signals

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing technical teams with performance management and difficult conversations
  • Experience managing a customer-facing team
  • Strong ML knowledge: LLM architectures, fine-tuning (SFT/LoRA, RL-based), evaluation design; inference internals (quantization, KV-cache management, batching, routing, speculative decoding); familiarity with frameworks (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM)
  • Technical judgment to review benchmarks and identify methodological flaws
  • Python proficiency to read/review code
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences and enterprise customers
  • Tolerance for operational work: documentation, process design, reporting, follow-through
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity across distributed teams and timezones; bias toward writing things down
