About the role

Security-focused engineer responsible for strategic solution evaluation, vendor assessment, and hands-on PoC validation to wire customer security requirements into enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Research & Requirement Definition: Threat-to-Solution Mapping; Market Analysis & Scouting; Vendor Due Diligence.
  • Technical Validation & Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Leadership: PoC Planning & Design; Hands-on Environment Setup; Testing & Analysis; Artifact Generation.
  • Decision Support & Communication: Recommendation & Insight to leadership; Integration Planning with Security Engineering, Platform/Infra, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years in Security Engineering, Security Architecture, or Security Research focused on solution validation and vendor management.
  • Technical Depth: Deep understanding of modern cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes/containers, network segmentation, IaC scanning, least privilege, identity-centric security, confidential computing).
  • Programming and Automation: Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar for automating PoCs, test harnesses, and API/CI/CD integration.
  • Solutions Expertise: Hands-on experience with two or more enterprise-grade security tools (e.g., SIEM/SOAR, EDR, Vulnerability Management, Secrets Management).
  • PoC Proficiency: Ability to plan and execute complex PoCs with measurable success criteria.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical findings into business risk insights.
