About the role

Graduate trainee program in AMD's Engineering Services within the Product Development Group for graphics products, focusing on master product data management (manufacturing specifications and bill of materials), NPI sample planning/execution, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish samples plan and schedule; tracking, scheduling, and delivery of early prototype samples to internal/external customers.
  • Be independent and resourceful in problem solving on issues potentially interrupting NPI samples; take initiative and stay proactive.
  • Liaise with AMD labs and manufacturing sites to ensure execution per plan; drive mitigations to minimize schedule interruptions and impact.
  • Be the subject matter expert to build and support manufacturing specifications and bill of material throughout the product life cycle; ensure involved parties adhere to process.
  • Responsible for bill of material release/changes according to change management process and adhere to master product data requirements; identify and resolve manufacturing problems related to BOM.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and drive efficiency and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline. Preferred with basic knowledge on Electronics and Semiconductors and general understanding of manufacturing/operations.
  • Candidate with proven experience or equivalent combination of training and experience are welcome to apply.
