About the role

Technical Expert position in Apple Retail focused on extensive troubleshooting, repair of iPhone and Apple products, customer education, and knowledge sharing with the team to ensure high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on iPhone and other Apple products as required
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software
  • Educate customers on repair options and Apple products and services
  • Provide excellent service by understanding customer needs and presenting product/service recommendations
  • Work with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple
  • Use extensive knowledge of hardware and software to identify source of technical issues and educate others
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and demonstrate Apple values of inclusion and diversity

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a schedule based on business needs including nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store
  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience
  • Ability to visually inspect hardware and perform repairs with fine motor skills
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment
  • Proficiency in the local language (written and spoken)
