About the role

SOFTWARE ENGINEER with strong Machine Learning background to join Global Siri, shaping Siri in Global markets by integrating latest ML developments into Apple Intelligence and Siri AI. Focus on large-scale ML solutions, data generation, model training/validation, and delivering personalized experiences across international markets. Combines machine learning and software engineering in the development of language processing capabilities for Hindi and Indian context.

Responsibilities

  • Lead work streams to design and implement large-scale ML solutions integrating latest state of the art research in global products
  • Collaborate with partner teams across Apple to deliver architectural proposals for international market needs
  • Maintain an ethos of continual learning from counterparts
  • Contribute to the intersection of Machine Learning and Software Engineering for Siri AI in global markets
  • Apply advanced machine learning models, data generation experiments, and model training/validation
  • Integrate personalized experiences to customers across the globe

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Native speaker fluency in Hindi and awareness of Indian culture
  • Experience in applying machine learning and NLP techniques to deliver products, with a solid understanding of ML concepts
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience for Indian market
  • Strong skills in object-oriented software design and programming, and experience with working on large code bases
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Good understanding of Data Generation Approaches, LLM fine-tuning, and optimization
  • Ability to formulate a research problem, design, experiment, implement and communicate solutions
  • Product-focused with a strong emphasis on end-user experience
  • Experience writing software in Swift, Objective-C, C++ or C; experience on Apple platforms preferred
