About the role

Acoustic Engineer role within Apple Acoustics, focusing on owning acoustic design and integration across product lines (iPad, Mac, Home) from ideation to mass production, in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality audio experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Take innovative audio concepts from early ideation to mass production
  • Own acoustic design and integration across product lines
  • Collaborate with Transducer Design, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, Software, Tuning, Operations, and Reliability teams
  • Perform simulation, prototyping, tuning, and validation to push the boundaries of compact acoustic systems
  • Travel internationally approximately 10%

Qualifications

  • MS or equivalent work experience, preferably specializing in acoustics
  • 5+ years in an acoustics engineering role with proven success prototyping, producing, and shipping high-volume consumer electronics with overseas manufacturers
