About the role

Genius with extensive troubleshooting skills who educates customers, repairs Apple products, and mentors the Genius Bar team within Apple Retail. Focuses on high-quality service, diagnosis, repair, and customer education while fostering inclusion and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service to Apple customers by understanding needs, presenting product/service recommendations, and educating on relevant buying options.
  • Educate and mentor Genius Bar team members; serve as a mentor, resource, and positive role model.
  • Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations.
  • Identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple via team leaders.
  • Use extensive knowledge of hardware and software components to identify origin of technical concerns and educate others.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
