About the role

Engineer focused on RF design and integration for Apple’s wireless products, with emphasis on antenna design, EM simulation, and cross-functional collaboration to enable production-ready wireless systems.

Responsibilities

  • Antenna design, EM simulation and prototype HW design.
  • Integrate different wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wifi, and NFC into products.
  • RF/Antenna schematic and PCB/flex layout.
  • Apply expertise in all aspects of product design from concept, architecture definition, integration and prototyping to final production.
  • Collaborate with wireless/software architects, industrial designers, and product designers to optimize RF/Wireless functionality for the user.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to support builds from prototype phase to mass production.

Qualifications

  • BSEE or Equivalent Education.
  • Coursework or experience in antenna/RF design, wireless communications, EM, or circuits.
  • Knowledge of EM or RF Hardware or antenna design.
  • Master’s or above degree in Electrical Engineering with Electro-magnetics or RF emphasis.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation.
  • Ability to debug Desense issues and characterize noise sources.
  • Experience with production environment and statistical analysis.
