About the role

Engineer to design, implement, and ship a scalable ML platform and tools used by Apple product teams. Build infrastructure, tools, and ML solutions, collaborate across Apple, and own projects from inception to shipping product.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and ship a scalable, reliable, and easy-to-use machine learning platform and tools used by Apple product teams.
  • Build the infrastructure, tools, and develop machine-learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams across Apple building intelligent applications.
  • Engage with new-product teams to solve challenging technical problems in next-generation products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in industry-leading companies
  • Strong software development skills, with proficiency in Swift / C++ / Python
  • Experienced in building, deploying, and running Machine Learning applications or services
  • Experience working with a very large scale of data, familiar with data processing frameworks like Spark
  • Solid technical understanding in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or artificial intelligence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Solid knowledge in LLM inference stacks, and hands-on experiences in latency optimization (e.g., attention/KV-cache optimization, GPU profiling, memory bandwidth analysis, multi-GPU scaling across diverse accelerator architectures)
  • Hands-on iOS/macOS development experiences
  • A real passion for delivering secure and high-performance AI inference platforms at scale
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Creative, collaborative & product-focused
