About the role

Hands-on, factory-based execution role embedded within Quince’s vendor ecosystem, responsible for accelerating product development, ensuring high quality, and meeting timelines from concept to production with on-site presence at finished-goods and materials factories.

Responsibilities

  • Development Timeline Ownership & Acceleration: Manage day-to-day product development timeline across new products, color/size extensions, vendor transitions, and refreshes to hit a 16-week cycle target.
  • Cross-Functional Workflow & Orchestration: Coordinate across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative, and Vendors.
  • Build Sheet Handoff and Coaching: Ensure accurate, complete product documentation and successful vendor handoffs, including technical specs, build docs, testing requirements, fit inputs, and supporting materials.
  • Sample Development & Tracking Discipline: Coordinate and track all sample requests, shipments, inbound reviews, fit requests, and revisions; target ≤2.0 sample rounds per product.
  • Approvals, Feedback Loops & Testing Coordination: Facilitate timely product reviews/approvals and track testing results with clear communication to stakeholders.
  • In-Country Development Trip Management: Run in-person country development trips with Global Merchants and Global Fit teams to accelerate decision-making and vendor execution.
  • Production & Launch Readiness Coordination: Support timely staging of materials and finished goods, coordinate on-time delivery of photo samples for marketing readiness.
  • Tools, Systems & Process Hygiene: Maintain clean, real-time data across product development systems including Product Catalog and tracking tools.

Qualifications

  • >8 years in product development or factory-facing roles
  • Strong category expertise
  • Strong experience working directly with factories and sample rooms
  • Comfortable operating independently on-site
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Clear communicator across language, cultural, and functional boundaries
