About the role

Senior Product Manager for the AI Pod at Vouch, focusing on building an AI system that learns from domain experts and interfaces between brokers and the AI engine. Founding pod role embedded with AI and software engineers to drive measurable learning and system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Sit alongside brokers. Observe workflows and interaction patterns to define human-in-the-loop practices.
  • Ensure the team solves the right problem by acting as the interface between brokers' needs and system capabilities.
  • Map broker workflows into tangible assets, advice units, and broker-ready recommendations.
  • Design feedback loops for domain experts to validate, correct, and enrich system outputs without adding friction.
  • Stand up customer-touchable solutions by mid-week, prioritizing fast iteration with the Lead AI Engineer teams.
  • Run the learning backlog: formulate hypotheses, track iterations, and determine if the engine improves.
  • Build instrumentation with engineering to measure improvements in system intelligence; stop if not improving.
  • Author and monitor a metrics system (north-star, driver, guardrails) tied to unit economics; hold team accountable.
  • Recruit and run pilots: select first users, onboard them 1:1, translate feedback into next builds.

Qualifications

  • Shipped AI products in production with real users and feedback loops.
  • Proven frontend foundation; able to ship frontend prototypes and modify code.
  • Experience with AI dev tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Replit or similar).
  • Systems thinking: design workflows and feedback loops, not just features.
  • Experience defining success criteria 0-to-1 and shipping before requirements are fully clear.
  • Field research experience in new domains by shadowing practitioners and delivering usable artifacts early.
  • Experience in regulated or complex professional domains (insurance, fintech, legal, healthcare, etc.).
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to write updates and decision logs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About Vouch

Insurance and risk management tools for startups and growth-stage…

Insurance... sounds slow, old-fashioned, and unexciting. Exactly. Insurance is broken, and it's failing fast-moving, innovative startups. Vouch is a new, technology-first insurance company backed with $185M in funding from world-class investors. Like Stripe for payments or Brex for credit cards, Vouch is creating the go-to business insurance for high-growth companies. We're doing this by making insurance fast, responsive, and focused on our high-growth and innovative customers. Instead of printed PDF applications and week-long waits, Vouch is building new technology to solve real problems, writing policies that actually cover relevant startup scenarios, and designing simple experiences in an otherwise frustrating industry.
