About the role

Job posting for ISSO, Senior Security Engineer, and Security Engineering Lead roles supporting CBP programs in a hybrid Reston/Ashburn, VA context.

Responsibilities

  • Own whether assigned systems stay authorized and stay honestly described; determine acceptable control implementations and POA&M requirements; decide when a security review is needed for changes.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility, ability to obtain CBP BI and EOD; BI preferred. Citizenship: U.S.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CISSO, CISM, CCSP, CEH (or other relevant equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity
  • At least 8 years of information security experience, with 5+ years in a lead ISSO or equivalent leadership role on large USG programs
