About the role

Roles supporting CBP operations across mobility and VTC/unified communications tracks, blending hands-on support with engineering responsibilities to keep devices, rooms, and conferencing functioning at remote and field sites.

Responsibilities

  • Keep devices and rooms working for people who cannot walk to a help desk
  • Enrollment, provisioning, and updates happen without somebody touching each device
  • Users pick the supported device and the supported conferencing path because it works, not because policy tells them to
  • Two tracks with roles: Mobility track (Mobility Analyst, Mobility Engineer) and VTC/UC track (VTC Analyst, Senior VTC Engineer)
  • Escalate appropriately and apply standard builds and configurations across endpoints and room systems
  • Support events where a failure would be visible to leadership and contribute to design changes as needed

Qualifications

  • Active CBP Background Investigation (CBP BI) and EOD strongly preferred; processing available for candidates without one
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active CBP BI, fitness determination at another DHS component, or active DoD clearance preferred (shortens start)
  • Experience with endpoint or conferencing estates where users cannot come to you
  • Experience running a device management platform at scale (enrollment, policy, updates)
  • Experience making conferencing work over constrained or unreliable network paths
  • Experience supporting high-visibility events with leadership presence
