About the role

Open roles across multiple PM levels to deliver program management for CBP-related projects in a hybrid Reston, VA / Ashburn, VA environment.

Responsibilities

  • Owns a project's scope, schedule, and delivery (Project Manager) or the overall program delivery (Program Manager).
  • Coordinate work spanning network, cloud, cybersecurity, and field deployment teams.
  • Manage commitments with the customer and move work through federal change control and accreditation processes.
  • Turn commitments into schedules that survive a 24/7 environment; surface dependencies and ensure estimates from the work execution team.
  • Provide customer-facing program status with actionable insights; manage risks and reporting.
  • Remove obstacles to engineers’ delivery by resolving blockers, minimizing chasing approvals, and fixing recurring administrative friction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications as per labor category for each level (Project Manager through Program Manager, including Deputy Program Manager)
  • Active CBP Background Investigation (CBP BI) and EOD strongly preferred; able to begin processing without one
  • US Citizenship required
  • Active CBP BI, fitness determination at another DHS component, or active DoD clearance preferred (shortens start date)
  • PMP or agile delivery certifications useful but not a substitute for delivering
