About the role

Field Deployment Analyst responsible for on-site installation, turn-up, and maintenance of infrastructure and end-user equipment at CBP sites, with high travel and decision-making autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to sites, install and turn up infrastructure and end-user equipment
  • Fix issues that remote support could not resolve
  • Coordinate with network engineers, cloud and mobility teams, and site operators
  • Ensure site is operational and documented as planned
  • Create as-built records and flag site conditions that affect future deployments
  • Deploy without interrupting ongoing site operations
  • Provide on-site leadership in ambiguous environments
  • Maintain operating rhythms and communicate plans to site leadership
  • Ensure end-users can operate deployed equipment and understand its function

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree and five years of experience, or a High School degree
  • Experience with Cisco layer 2/3 devices
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewall products
  • Support a rotating on-call schedule and support on-call requests
  • Operating System Experience: Microsoft Windows, Linux
  • Must be able to travel around the United States on a regular weekly basis
  • Candidates should expect 75%-90% travel
