About the role

To work in one of the HOPE business operations alongside client workers and volunteers and perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, handling, and distributing materials and products.

Responsibilities

  • Provides training support to client workers and volunteers in area of assignment.
  • Performs production and/or service as assigned and described in the scope of work.
  • Assures all equipment is tested for operational soundness and current safety standards.
  • Complies with all required safety practices.
  • Works as a cooperative member of the team.
  • Informs supervisor of any and all concerns related to the scope of work, operations and/or materials.
  • Assign tasks and provide daily direction to volunteers based on operational needs.
  • Acts as a mandated abuse reporter.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to assure efficiency of operations.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School GED preferred.
  • Experience working with balers preferred.
  • Forklift certification (assistance may be provided to obtain certification)
