About the role

Intern/co-op position at AMD focused on product development engineering for next-generation AMD microprocessors. Involves characterization, production test programs, data analysis, debug, and cross-functional collaboration to support production ramp.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and to build production test programs through parametric, data and statistical analysis
  • Train to perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage and meet target goal to initiate production ramp
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and improve efficiency
  • Build and maintain technical documents, debug manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors
  • Participate in Product debug and characterization to identify product performance, process, and test sensitivities

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a US-based University in an Undergraduate degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
