About the role

Internship position at AMD focused on developing end-to-end AI and data-centric software solutions to accelerate AMD CPU/GPU product development. Full-time during term with hybrid or onsite option in Singapore. Open to students in Singapore universities who can provide a placement/support letter for the entire internship period.

Responsibilities

  • Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to solve domain-specific challenges and improve AMD business operations through enhanced efficiency.
  • Create data science and AI models and/or solutions for domain-specific use cases to uplift key business metrics over conventional methods.
  • Apply software engineering best practices (e.g., CI/CD, MLOps) in developing and deploying analytical and AI models into the cloud-based production environment.
  • Collaborate with platform engineering, data engineering, and IT teams to refine and adopt data-specific workloads supporting data-centric applications with AI/DS capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
