About the role
AMD co-op/intern position for ML/AI research and development, focused on next-generation product differentiation features, machine learning, computer vision, and AI deployment across AMD products.
Responsibilities
- Learn innovative technologies in Machine Learning | AI | High Performance Compute
- Analyze and implement changes to algorithms to improve AI performance and user experiences
- Work on machine learning techniques to build applications for source code analysis and Image Corruption Detection
- Research, development, and deployment in ML-based and computer vision products on AMD’s products
- Fixing and addressing problems with deployed AI to improve user experience
- Support AI software teams with roadmap planning, collateral development, and customer engagements
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Master’s degree program majoring in computer science, computer engineering, data science / analytics, or a related field
- Knowledge/experience in machine learning, data science, computer vision, statistics, and mathematics (preferred)
- Programming in Python, C/C++ (preferred)
- Relational (SQL) and no-SQL databases (preferred)
- Machine learning algorithms and frameworks (preferred)
- Deep learning / AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe (preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) (preferred)
