About the role

Project Manager role supporting the delivery of a next-generation publishing platform (PIM, DAM, CMS, Orchestration, Syndication) for Retail and Marcom Engineering, with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable platform services at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of cross-functional software engineering projects contributing to the Apple Online Store (AOS) platform.
  • Assist in the delivery of components of an enterprise publishing platform (PIM, DAM, CMS, Orchestration, Syndication) as it moves from a Retail-first launch toward broader adoption.
  • Support project execution across the project lifecycle — from requirements through design, development, testing, and launch — helping track timelines, resources, and risks.
  • Act as a day-to-day liaison between engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders — helping ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution, and escalating conflicts when priorities compete.
  • Help run and continuously improve iterative delivery routines — support sprint structures, release cadences, demo/feedback loops, and definition-of-done standards for the team(s) you support.
  • Track backlog health and sprint readiness for one or more engineering teams — help ensure stories are groomed and sized ahead of each sprint, and flag readiness gaps to leadership.
  • Assist in tracking scope against baselines for program work streams, including basic change control, coverage tracking, and gap reporting against delivery milestones.
  • Help prepare project status updates and reporting materials for leadership reviews, summarizing progress, risks, and delivery status in clear, organized formats.

Qualifications

  • BS in CS or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project/program management, including exposure to coordinating across more than one team or work stream.
  • Experience supporting or participating in iterative delivery processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
  • Experience supporting sprint-based delivery cadences, including backlog tracking and readiness checks.
