About the role

Engineering program management leader for Apple Services Engineering (ASE) supporting the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization. Lead a team of program managers to define, prioritize, plan, and deliver a portfolio of technical, infrastructure, and system projects to ensure reliable, scalable service infrastructure for Apple customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of program managers within ASE Program Management.
  • Partner with SRE to define, prioritize, plan, and deliver the project portfolio across infrastructure, hardware deployments, data migrations, and service Reliability improvements.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end programs including CapEx planning, complex system changes, tech refreshes, and outage remediation.
  • Drive process improvement, standard operating procedures, and program maturity; reduce ambiguity and complexity across engineering partnerships.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, design brainstorming, and stakeholder communications; present to executives as needed.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and influence partners without direct authority.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of program management experience in infrastructure domain
  • Strong background in software delivery and services infrastructure engineering
  • Proficient in software development processes (SDLC) and familiar with multiple project management methodologies
  • Experience with risk analysis, roadmapping, prioritization, and delivering on roadmap commitments
  • Proven track record in defining processes, developing metrics, and driving program maturity and optimization
  • Successful experience leading technical/engineering program management teams, hiring, and building impactful teams
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or deep relevant industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and polished presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong creative and critical thinking
  • Experience coordinating requirements gathering and design brainstorming sessions
  • Experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Leadership, negotiation, and influence skills without direct authority
  • Prior engineering, infrastructure, or software development project management experience in Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps preferred
  • Experience in the capacity management space
