About the role

Role focused on developing long-term strategy for Apple Card and Apple Cash within Apple Pay, including market analysis, business case development, and leading cross-functional initiatives across Wallets, Payments, and Commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Business Development, and Data Science teams to assess strategic value of new product constructs, commercial models, and potential partnerships.
  • Own complex financial modeling and analysis to support and guide leadership on critical investment and product decisions.
  • Synthesize competitive intelligence, market research, and data analysis into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate strategic projects and initiatives, from opportunity sizing and business case development to go-to-market strategy and performance measurement.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams, providing thought leadership and analytical support to drive alignment and execution of priorities.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and key stakeholders to influence product and business roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, Strategic Finance, or similar function in a global, fast-paced organization.
  • Understanding of consumer payments capabilities, business models, and international market dynamics.
  • Experience in financial and business case modeling in the payments industry, with ability to build and defend sophisticated models.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity, structuring open-ended questions into actionable frameworks, with ownership to drive projects independently.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex concepts to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or quantitative field from a top-tier institution or equivalent experience.
