About the role

Software Engineering Project Manager role focused on defining, scheduling, and tracking multi-functional initiatives across Software, Hardware, and Design to deliver groundbreaking technology across Apple operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with software engineers and managers across the Software Engineering team to define, schedule, and track the team's work and multi-functional initiatives.
  • Act as the central hub bringing together different teams from Software, Hardware and Design to deliver groundbreaking technology across all operating systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager
  • Experience delivering customer-facing software features or projects from concept through delivery
  • Prior iOS, iPadOS, or macOS experience
  • Strong understanding of and experience in managing complex, cross-functional software projects with user facing UI
  • Strong technical understanding of operating systems and how the various layers in the software stack fit together
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Project management experience in software development lifecycle
  • Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences
  • Proven track record in defining processes and executing on them
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Has a deeply curious mindset about new ideas
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to build relationships and influence others
