About the role

Systems Engineering Project Manager within Apple’s Software Engineering Program Office, leading cross-functional software-hardware-design programs from concept to launch for new consumer products. Focuses on defining, scheduling, tracking, and communicating status across Software, Hardware, Silicon, and Product Integrity teams, delivering executive updates and resolving bottlenecks and interdependencies in complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Define, schedule, track, and help lead the work for exciting new products in collaboration with Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Silicon and Product Integrity teams.
  • Deliver executive communication and presentations to drive decision-making; clearly communicate overall program status.
  • Identify and resolve key bottlenecks and inter-dependencies of complex projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with other organizations within Apple to align priorities and direction.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years experience project managing complex, multi-functional projects
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to distill meaningful information to the right audience
  • BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed cross-functional capacity
  • Experience in consumer electronics or silicon
  • Strong engineering / technical background
  • Self motivated and hardworking with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to understand priorities and clarify direction
  • Experience demonstrating strong presentation skills
  • Deeply curious mindset about new ideas
  • Ability to build relationships and influence others
